Welcome to TrueShih. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of trueshih.com (the "Site") and any purchases you make from us. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Who we are

TrueShih is an online retailer of precision coffee tools, home barista accessories, tea ceremony kits, and lifestyle homewares, operated and shipped worldwide. You can reach us at info@trueshih.com.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to place an order. By using the Site, you confirm you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

Accounts

• You can browse and check out as a guest, or create an account for faster repeat orders.
• You're responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any activity under your account.
• Notify us immediately at info@trueshih.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts used for fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.

Orders & payment

• An order is an offer to buy. We accept your offer when we send the order confirmation email and ship the goods.
• We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including: out-of-stock items, suspected fraud, payment authorization failure, shipping address restrictions, or pricing errors.
• Prices on the Site are in USD unless otherwise displayed. Prices are inclusive of base packaging but exclusive of shipping, duties, and applicable taxes.
• Payment is due in full at checkout. We accept the payment methods listed in our checkout (currently powered by Shopify Payments / Stripe and major card networks).

Pricing & typos

We work hard to keep pricing accurate, but errors happen. If we discover a pricing error before your order ships, we'll contact you to either honor the corrected price (with your approval) or cancel the order with a full refund. Listings are not a binding offer at the displayed price until the order is accepted by us.

Processing, delivery estimates, tracking, and customs handling are detailed in our Shipping Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Returns & refunds

Product information & colors

We do our best to photograph and describe products accurately, but minor variations in color, grain, glaze, finish, or weight are inherent to handcrafted and natural materials (clay, bamboo, wood, leather). Computer monitors render colors differently — the actual product may vary slightly from on-screen representations.

Intellectual property

• The Site — including text, images, logos, product photography, design, and code — is owned by TrueShih or licensed to us, and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
• You may view and share Site content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, mirror, redistribute, or use Site content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
• "TrueShih" and our logo are trademarks. Other trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

User content

If you submit reviews, photos, comments, or other content ("User Content"), you grant TrueShih a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and display that User Content in connection with the Site, marketing, and our products. You confirm you own the rights to anything you submit and that it doesn't infringe on anyone else.

We reserve the right to remove User Content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site to violate any law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or its systems.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated means to extract data without permission.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent orders.
• Resell our products with the intent of misrepresenting their origin.
• Interfere with other users or harass our staff.

Disclaimers

Statements about coffee brewing, tea preparation, or wellness are intended for general lifestyle information only and are not medical advice.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueShih and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Site or our products. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions don't allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages. In those jurisdictions, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TrueShih from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your User Content, or your misuse of the Site.

Third-party links

The Site may include links to third-party sites we don't control. We're not responsible for the content, practices, or privacy of those sites. Following an external link is at your own risk.

Changes to the Site & products

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site or any product at any time, with or without notice. Prices, availability, and product specifications can change without prior notice.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause or notice. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law) will continue to apply.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. EU consumers retain the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

Force majeure

We're not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, carrier disruptions, port closures, customs holds, war, civil unrest, supplier shutdowns, or extended power/internet outages.

Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and TrueShih regarding the Site and supersede prior agreements on the same subject.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be at trueshih.com/policies/terms-of-service with the effective date at the top. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
